Kohla Varka Spicy Meat Curry

🧂 Ingredients:

For the Curry:

  • 500g mutton (bone-in, washed and drained)

  • 2 medium onions – finely chopped

  • 2 tomatoes – pureed

  • 2 tbsp yogurt (curd)

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste)

  • 2 tbsp Kohla Varka Meat Ka Masala

  • Salt – to taste

  • 4 tbsp oil or ghee

  • Fresh coriander – chopped (for garnish)

  • 1-2 green chilies (optional, for extra spice)

  • Water – as required for gravy


🔥 Instructions:

  1. Heat oil/ghee in a pressure cooker or deep pot.

  2. Add chopped onions and sauté till golden brown.

  3. Add ginger-garlic paste, sauté for 1-2 minutes till raw smell goes.

  4. Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.

  5. Add turmeric, red chili powder, and Kohla Varka Meat Ka Masala. Cook for 2 minutes.

  6. Add yogurt and mix well until smooth and rich.

  7. Add mutton pieces and salt. Mix and cook for 5–7 minutes to seal the flavor.

  8. Add enough water for gravy and pressure cook for 3–4 whistles (or slow cook until tender).

  9. Let the pressure release naturally.

  10. Garnish with coriander and green chilies.


🫓 Serving Suggestion:

Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice. Add lemon wedges and onion salad on the side for a full meal.
