🥘 Kohla Varka Veg Biryani Recipe
🧂 Ingredients:
Basmati rice – 1.5 cups
Mixed vegetables (carrot, beans, peas, potato) – 1.5 cups (chopped)
Onion – 2 (thinly sliced)
Tomato – 1 (chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Green chili – 1 (slit)
Curd – ½ cup
Kohla Varka Veg Biryani Masala – 2 tbsp ✅
Oil – 2 tbsp + Ghee – 1 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Mint & coriander leaves – handful
Water – 2.5 to 3 cups
Fried onions & cashews – for garnish (optional)
👨🍳 Method:
Prep the Rice:
Soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.Cook Vegetables:
Heat oil + ghee in a pan. Add sliced onions and sauté till golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste, green chili, and tomatoes. Cook till soft.Add Flavor:
Mix in curd and Kohla Varka Veg Biryani Masala. Cook till masala releases aroma.Combine Veggies:
Add chopped vegetables, salt, mint, and coriander. Sauté for 5–6 minutes.Add Rice & Water:
Mix soaked rice gently with the masala. Add water. Cover and cook on low flame till rice is done and fluffy.Garnish & Serve:
Fluff rice gently. Garnish with fried onions, mint, and cashews. Serve hot with raita.
