π₯ Dal Makhani Recipe Made flavorful with Kohla Varka Masalas π§
Ingredients:
Whole black urad dal (sabut urad) β 1 cup
Rajma (kidney beans) β ΒΌ cup
Butter β 2 tbsp Fresh cream β ΒΌ cup (plus extra for garnish)
Onion (finely chopped) β 1 medium
Tomato puree β 1 cup Ginger-garlic paste β 1 tbsp Green chili (optional) β 1 chopped
Kohla Varka Dal Makhani Masala β 2 tbsp β
Kohla Varka Rock Salt β to taste
Kohla Varka Diamond Kasoori Methi β 1 tsp (crushed) β
Water β as needed
π¨βπ³ Method: Soak & Boil:
Soak urad dal and rajma overnight. Pressure cook with salt for 6β7 whistles until soft.
Prepare the Masala Base:
In a pan, heat butter.
Add chopped onions and sautΓ© until golden.
Add ginger-garlic paste, sautΓ© for a minute.
Add tomato puree and cook till oil separates.
Add the Masala:
Stir in Kohla Varka Dal Makhani Masala.
Cook for 2β3 minutes for rich flavor.
Mix Dal: Add boiled dal-rajma mixture.
Mix and let it simmer on low heat for 20β25 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Creamy Finish:
Add cream and Kohla Varka Diamond Kasoori Methi. Simmer for 5 more minutes. Adjust consistency with water if needed.
Garnish & Serve: Top with cream and butter. Serve hot with naan or jeera rice. β
